cdm 1250 scan

Post by k0kjl »

Since I can't find an operating manual on these things anywhere I'll ask the question here. Is there a way for the user to change channels in a scan list from the front of the radio without having to plug in and reprogram. If so what is the procedure, I'm use to maratracs and maxtracs and these things seem to be completly different.

Thanks
Al

Sure.....when the CDM is programmed with CPS, the person doing the programming can enable the user, via the menu system built into the radio's firmware, to program scanlists. If you can bring up the top level menu by using one of the front buttons, you will see if this feature has been enabled by whomever programmed the radio by stepping through the top level menu by using the [up-down] button.

1) Define Program - Scan as a Menu function.

2) In each scan list, make the non-priority members "User Programmable."
