Guys,
Could one of you point me in the proper direction of some instructions on how to install multiple versions of the Astro Portable CPS without having one interfere with the other?
I have an FPP VHF model that only has Q52, and I've been using CPS v9 since the winter. I just got my hands on an 'S' split 5000R that needs v10 (which I have), but I know the routine - I dare not write the VHF model with the v10 software.
I've seen this done before, but I have no idea how the person did it...

Stupidity creates job security!
If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..
CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.

Re: Installing multiple versions of CPS
I also have this problem. I had planned on installing the older version CPS on a separate laptop. If there is a way to have old and newer versions on the same computer I am all ears....
