qcII on xts2500 as a pager ch

Trying to set up qcii on a ch on a xts2500. CPS ver 12 radio ver 7

Want it to be silent until a call is received then beep and stay open.

Have a ch assigned to own pers then have a qcii assigned to it. have it set to selcall and

But on ch i hear everything. cant get it to mute.

It's not going to happen... You need Firmware R08.00.00 or above for QCII to work.

Stupidity creates job security!

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.
