XTS 5000 Emergency signal question

Post by ems170 »

I have 2 questions regarding the XTS 5000 ver 11 firmware.

1. Is there a way to have the emergency signal sent over 2 channels? i.e have the signal treansmitted over fireground, then revert to a repeated ch and resend so dispatch is notified.

2. Can the QC page be set to use non standard times for the tone? The tone I have is 1 sec 1sec vs the standard 1 sec 3 sec.

Just as a side note - if your running 11.00.00/11.00.00 - make sure you get upgraded. There are a number of bugs in that version of firmware which makes it worth going to .03 or just straight to 12.
