Who makes a repeater ctrller that can fulfill my requirents?

Not too familiar with the different brands (ham, etc) of repeater controllers, here is what I am looking for.

Simple repeat operation w/CW-ID, and will transmit the CW-ID in CSQ, but all voice, etc. with the PL I choose.

Second, be able to add-on a simplex link radio to it.

More specifically, I have a GR300 repeater, (my controller just took a crap due to something I did to it trying to configure an additional radio with the COR). The repeater is UHF (Ham). I want to add another GM300 (or similar) on VHF to link a distant VHF repeater to mine.

I don't need any additional bells and whistles. If it's the kind that monitors in CSQ and decodes PL internally, it should be compatible with Motorola's PL... I hate squelch crashes caused by poor designs

Any ideas?

Check out these.. http://www.catauto.com/products.html The only thing I don't know is if they will strip the PL from the CW ID, but at least it's a shot.

Zetron also makes a number of repeater controllers. The 38 comes to mind as also being one that will support multiple PL's, and probably would strip PL from CWID.

One of our local FD systems strips the PL when the house Secode is
transmitted which avoids those listening from hearing the "annoying"
Secode tones. If you're listening in CSQ mode you get the tones in
your ear.

Zetron doesn't make anything that readily interfaces with "link radios", however the link Alex sent and also NHRC does, but I'm familiar with those brands only in that numerous ham repeaters use them and as as result have squelch (PL decode) and encode turn-off-code issues, as well as silly voice IDs that come out with the PL... maybe I won't be able to find exactly what I am looking for. Should that be the case, then what I've seen as far as ham controllers go is the route I need to go.

I have/had a ZR320 on my GR300, I thought I would be easily able to interface another radio (CDM1550 in this case) to it for linking operation. I was able to get the link to talk to the repeater output radio just fine, but getting a COR to work from the RX radio with the controller in place didn't go so well. Operation was weird with it when I connected a multimeter to the COR such that it seemed the controller was sending data back out the COR input. I decided to hook a diode up in a manner that would not allow signal (of whatever sort) to go back down the line to the radio, and somehow in doing so the "RX" light is always on in the controller... which may be fine since it was a somewhat mediocre controller for my needs anyhow.

Yeah, I just ended up buying a Zetron 38.
