Hi everyone, I just picked up a few HT800 radios and thought I'd pass along what I have found out about them. They look like an MT1000, 16 channels, they program with a stand alone Gmbh RSS. They do lots of neat signalling, ZVEI, French ZVEI, Modified Zvei, Group call , Private call, 5tone incode/decode. I picked up the uhf version which seems to do 385-590mhz in various bandsplits with slight retuning. I currently have one programmed in the 437-473 mhz bandsplit. They seem to work fine on the ham and public saftey bands, although it seems like the receiver is not as senbsitive as an MT1000. Just thought I'd pass this along in case anyone was considering picking one up.
Oh, one more thing, the radio is super nice with all the signalling but the damn thing will only do one pl, unless I'm just using an older version of RSS that only supports one pl!! Oh well, thought I'd pass this along to you motoheads!!

Sounds like the signalling options from a GM300.
