Desktrac question

How do you change the number of channels in an L53SUM70D0... desktrac. I have two identical radios, one is locked on to 1 channel, and the other one has only 2 channels. Where in the file is the lower band limited listed, I want to go below 146 to 144 Mhz. The internal radio is a Maxtrac. Do I use the Desktrac program or the Maxtrac program?

Yes the Maxtrac RSS to add channels (Modes) in your Maxtrac.

Maxtrac radios will not work well below 146.000 on transmit. If you need the ham band, 144 to 148, you have to convert it to a 136-162 radio. Then the radio will cover 144 thru 162 without the transmitter problems caused by the firmware.
