Short VHF antenna for Astro Saber

Post by MotoFAN »

Hi all!

I am looking for any idea where to get factory made short VHF antenna for Astro Saber. Length must be 2..4". I know that performance will be poor, but this is not critical in my case. I agreed for narrowband antennas if they available in different bandsplits.

There IS a very short VHF stubby, about two inches, and it's in the Tessco
catalog. However, it's only available last time I looked in the MX base and not
with the SF connector. I've used it and it seems to work fine in metro areas,
but again, no SF connector.

Ok, thank you!

P.S.
A little unexpectedly that it costs more that 'hi-end' dipole (8505518V01).
