xts5000 button question

xts5000 button question

xts5000 button question.....1st let me say this is my 1st xts5000 and what does the "computer"button does
when i push it ..it goes bump i know what the "home" button does and the 4 way up-down
just dont know what the "computer" button does

i know it is dumb but someone help me out

It's for TMS aka text messaging with firmware R09.xx.xx and above, and the proper feature set.

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.
