Just checking this.
I have an EX600 i am trying to program. I can read the radio, however when I try to write to it I get an error message.
"Can not program radio. The source and target radios are different models"
I am using Pro CPS ver R06.00.00. Is this b/c the CPS ver is was programmed with is newer?
Or am I missing something?
Thanks,
David

Re: Pro CPS Version Question
The message you're seeing can only pop up when you're cloning portables(memtion of *source* and *target* radios). So it appears that you're not trying to simply program(i.e. read, change codeplug, then write to the same portable). Is this correct? Usually, the CPS is right when it tells you that source and target model numbers are not the same(so cloning is not allowed....if it was, you wouldn't have a clone, now, would you?).

Re: Pro CPS Version Question
I just found out that this radio was programmed with ver R06.05.00. So I assume that is my problem.
Re: Pro CPS Version Question
All EX series radios required version R06.03.00 or newer software. If the radio was programmed last with 06.05 then you will need that version or newer to program the radio you have.
