MTS2000 Error Message

Post by njscan »

I'm trying to program a VHF MTS2000 using Win CPS. Each time I try, I'm getting a error message that I'm unable to connect to the radio. Display also shows "Killer 06000" error message. Any ideas? This is a new one to me. Otherwise, theradio works just fine.

Cancel the request for assistance - I figured out whatthe problem was.
This radio just doesn't like the Windows version of software.
Tried the old reliable DOS version and it responded perfectly.

Thanks...

Your radio may be an MT2000 (vs. MTS2000), which doesn't work with CPS. MTSX works with both.
