XTS BATTERY

Post by SLASH40917 »

I have a xts 2500 operating in concentional mode I see that there is a BATT option on the screen. When i select it it tells me that smart data is not available. I also do not have a battery life indicator on the screen. I do not have a impres battery just a reg Moto 1. Is that the probelm or is there something in the programming I can enable it so I can see the battery life on the display. Thankx again Chris

I have used a IMPRES battery and charger but still not get any information, why?
Thanks!

If the battery was first initially charged with a non-Impres charger, it loses it's "smart" features...I haven't looked into it in a long time, but I don't think there's anything you can do to get it back.
No trees were harmed in the posting of this message...however an extraordinarily large number of electrons were horribly inconvenienced.

A reinitialization should do it, drop the battery in the charger, remove it, and put it back in within 5 seconds.
