xts2500 model 3 with cps v12. I am having a problem. One of the channels recieves fine when scan is on, but there is no audio when scan is off. The radio is recieving the signal, and I can hear the audio when I press the mon button. I can also hear the audio if I key the repeater. I can not figure out what I have done wrong. Any ideas what programming option I might have selected that would cause this? thanks
JT

- What radios do you own?: APX8000, everything ASTRO
Re: no recieve with scan off
My first thought would be to check the "Mute/Unmute type" in the personality, be sure it's set to standard.

Re: no recieve with scan off
PL probably gets stripped off in scan, and once you stop on a channel, the active RX PL takes over.
If your system transmits no PL, then you will hear nothing, just the rcve. LED flashing without audio as it can't decode the tone.
Check for proper PL/DPL for that channel first(receive).
If set to CSQ, it should work no matter what tone is being sent by the repeater, BUT, if you have a tone programmed that is not being used, then you of course, hear nothing.
You might have 'matched PL' set on your receive channel(like the Jedis).
