LB HT1250 delay in opening squelch

Post by Pj »

I have a HT1250/Lowband that seems to have a little delay in opening up the squelch (speaker). This seems to happen on PL and but not on CSQ channels, all simplex with multiple makes/models used. MDC is enabled (post PTT using the caller ID tables). Squelch is set to normal, and "Standard" for unmute. Firmware 5.08.03. HMN9052E speaker mic.

Any suggestions?

Radio was bought new, so I am thinking it may need to be adjusted slightly on a montior if anything.

Do you have MDC enabled on the receive signaling system side? If so, goto signaling, MDC system, open the system you are using, click on the DOS tab, change the DOS (Data Operated Squelch) auto mute duration time from the default of 500ms to disabled (0 ms).
