GM360 dead

Post by mupolovac71 »

Hi gays,
I have a problem, during the upgrade of my GM360 error message is popup "no responds from radio erase EEPROM field". Use flash adapter 9742,RIB,programing cable form batlabs,GM360 is model MDM25KHF9AN5A,TANAPA: IMUD6013A , I connect 25 pin female connector from flash adapter to acc.conector (pin1 to pin7 of acc.connector,pin15 to pin 17 boot and pin 25 to pin 18 boot control).when I try to upgrade first part is ok download bootcode, but when it came to erase EEPROM error message is on,no responds from radio. After that Gm360 is behave like dead, can't turn it on,and no power up tones.I try to program whit saved archive codeplug, nothing is happening, only message couldn't open port.Only thing ,what I can do is again download bootcode and then there is the same message erase EEPROM faild. What I did or do wrong, help pleas.Tx

Hi Andreas,

thanks for your help,i do everything what you told me to do,but no luck, the problem is the same, downloading bootcodes went fine, but when it comes to erasing Flash ROM, error is occurs, no responds form radio, erasing Flash ROM failed, unexpecting responds form radio.I find out that the gay who is give me the radio, first try to flash by his on,and during the power on he is jumped pin7 and pin 18 of acc.conn. to go in bootsprap mode.Maybe that is the problem, because GM360 act like is dead,no power on tones,no display no nothing.Has someone any ideas to solve the problem??

It's hardware problem,
recommend the first step - install new RAM IC.
If there will be no positive result, then install new Eeprom IC and FlashROM IC.

It's hardware problem,
Resolder IC Flashrom (by hot blower solder).
or replace new IC Flashrom, go to www.atmel.com for type it.
