Is the region system applicable to XTS3000 radios ?

Post by mrtor »

Good Morning All
I am looking at a purchase of a 2nd hand XTS3000. Does this series of radio have the same Region configuration as you get with say as the Waris series of radios (eg: GP328 ) ?

If I buy the CPS here in Australia and the radio has come from the USA for example am I screwed as far as being able to read & write to the radio ?

Apparently the radio is question was last programmed with Ver 5.2 of CPS.

Other info I have if it matters are

Host 7.71.00.00
DSP N08.03.03
Flash 599108-145E00-0

Thanks in advance

Nope, no region codes to worry about. You shouldn't have any CPS issues either..

Stupidity creates job security!

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.
