XTVA and XTS3000

Post by luminoxs »

What would cause an XTVA with a HHCH to not fully work with an model 3 XTS3000? With the HHCH, the side buttons and LCD work but none of the front buttons (vol, mode, home and soft keys) will work. When they are pressed, you get a bonk. A XTS5000 works without an issue. Has anyone else have had this issue? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks

The radio does have newer firmware in it R07.71.00/N08.03.03 and the flash is 599108-1C5E00-1

The radio codeplug contains data to support the HHCH and it sounds like it doesn't have the proper info in it. I have seen this in hacked and non hacked models. You will need an s-rec with it set up properly or you will need someone with the know how to modify your exisiting codeplug. The settings I refer to are NOT viewable in normal cps/rss.
