XTL5000 Dual Head

Post by agtkgv »

Hi, I have an XTL5000 that I am trying to set up as a dual head. It's programmed for 2 head, and if one head is connected it comes up missing CH, however when I connect the second head, power up with and ID error? (I can get the exact wording tomorrow if needed), is there any programming that needs to be done to the ch prior to it working?, maybe assigning a head number? Help please this is driving me nuts.

A quick search here on the board will usually bring you some good info. Here is what I found in doing so.

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Thanks, I searched for dual head XTL5000, and didn't find it. Should of thought to use multiple head. Oh well. That's what forums are for to get over brain farts.
