Hi all
Just curious to ask if anybody on the group can give me sum idea where i can locate the output chip for the motorola as i have blown the output and i'm curious if this chip can be replaced as i have come across a number of sites that indicate that parts for this readio are no longer available....... thanks all

The MCX100 was made in Canada back in the late '70s. You would be better off finding another donor radio for parts.

AKA known as the Canadian Syntor. It was the predecessor of the US built Syntors and the Spectra radios.
A very good radio in it's day.
