I understand the cables are different for a remote head o to w series.
What do i need to do to take an O seires head xtl5000 and put on a w7 radio?

Re: question on xtl heads
A new cable, an new front panel on the radio with the required connectors, the W7 control
head and reprogram the radio. In most cases, it isn't worth the effort. You will find that
Motorola will come down the road and tell us they are no longer supporting the W series
heads. Kind of surprised that some sort of word hasn't shown up yet.
