HT1250 LS Channel Expansion

Hello,

I purchased a used HT1250 LS UHF online. I did not realize it was an LS model (late night purchase). This radio will do 16 channels conventional and LTR. I only need it for conventional operation. Is there a way to preform a channel expansion on this radio? If so what is the process?

Code Plug: 02.06

I have used the search feature and looked around online and cannot even find any discussion of this.

not shure how you couldn't find the answer, this is the most common asked question along with can the ls models do mdc? i typed "ht1250ls more channels" in the search box and got over 300 matches just on this board

I apologize I typed in "ht1250ls more channels" and got only 96 results, 1 of them being my own. I was not able to locate the answer by reviewing those threads.

no you can not add more channels to it or use mdc in conventional mode, and i don't think you can use QCII either, you need a non ls model. there are other ways around it and maybe andreas can help you out?
