Convertacoms for my HT100 MTS 2000

Post by dalonzi »

Hello. The question I have is on the amplifiers both VHF and UHF units have power imputs on both ends. Do I run 2 power leads to each of the amps?.. Also they have two mini uhf female connectors one on each end. Do I connect the antenna on the RF in and do I need a jumper cable with mini uhf end to go to the cradle?

Yes, you need to power both sides (fused separately) of the control box. One side is the brain, the other is the RFPA. You also need a mini-u to mini-u jumper from the cradle to the input of the control box, then connect your antenna to the RFPA to get the full potential of your MTVA.
