Astro Spectra DSP swap.

Post by TWL911 »

Here is what I have: high power VHF with "A" revision DSP board & a "Q" split mid power with a basic IMBE flash and digital DSP.

obviously a Q split is worthless, and I need an IMBE capable VHF radio. I have someone with the software capabilities, and an S-record in the same model with the flash I desire.

What do I need to do on the hardware side of things? Is it as simple as swapping the entire vocoder/controller module and reprogram? or will this require removal of the actual DSP board from the circuit board?

Swap vocons, do the record push, and ALIGN the radio.
