MCS2000 900Mhz programming step size

Post by Josh »

I currently have a GTX900 and am a bit upset that I can't program some of the frequencies I need into it because the radio doesn't support the 6.25khz step size.

I don't know if there is a mod for it, but I'm here wondering if the MCS2000 on 900Mhz can. Specifically I need "out of band" frequencies such as 928.80625, the GTX will go 928.8000 or 928.8125, but damn if not right in between.

Josh - I do not think any of that era radios do the 6.25khz channel steps. They were designed before hand.

You would have a better chance with the XTL1500/2500/5000 series but I do not know for sure if they can
do it now or not.
