Post by kb9suy »

I just Pulled a dual head mcs2000 vhf 100 watt mobile out of my chiefs car. The reciever is extremely deaf. When im using tuner software cps The radio will open up at specs. But once I program the radio the reciever loose its sensitivity. Any ideas im wondering if this is a hardware problem or a software issue any ideas.

We found a problem that messes up the alignment while programming.

My best answer is to make sure the alignment is right on. Then read the radio and put the frequencies in there and then save that back into the radio.
