EX600 Question

Post by WCHija »

I recently bought an R split model and really like it. Programing software shows up Monday so I am just sitting here checking it out. I read on the M website that it has FPP. Really, how do you access it? Anyone have any experience with that?

I believe he meant the EX600-XLS, and, according to this page (http://tinyurl.com/nycp33), if you check the specifications tab - it IS supposed to be FPP capable. I didn't believe it either until I read this, and still think it might be a misprint.

Now, if only there were someone here who was a Motorola authorized reseller that could check with them to find out for sure.... ;)

There's no doubt, it doesn't have FPP, that's either a misprint on Motorola's part or they think they are talking about being able to program scan or call lists from the front panel or something. FPP is only available for the 4 line pro series radios, which means HT1550 or HT1550XLS and nothing else

I figured that FPP must mean someting else in this case but I have to wonder. And yes I did mean XLS.
