Front End Xtal Filter

Post by PY5FT »

Hi1
Anoyone already tested 50 Ohms FRONT END xtal filter for VHF? It obtained to buy easily? I do not get answers of the American suppliers.
I have a two transceiver in closed space with 120 KHz apart. Another use is in repeater RX to improve selectivity in a crowded area.
Regards, Antonio now PY5AB.

We used a lot of the frontend receiver crystal filters to filter out adjacent stations and the worked really well.

I've used crystal filters with great results. I've purchased a few from Piezo Technologies, which is now MtronPTI. http://www.mtronpti.com/

Beware, they aren't cheap. A 4-pole filter will run north of $500.
