Impres Charger with Non-Lion Impres Batt

Does anyone know if there is a way to make the IMPRES V3.4 charger work with non-Moto Lion-Batt? We have some EFJ 5100 with Lion Batteries and they will charge in the the IMPRES V3.3 and below but not 3.4. Has anyone come across this? Any Help would be great...

What is the charger indicator light doing? flashing red fast? or just staying yellow?

Did you try the old trick of pulling the battery out and putting it back in the charger within 10 seconds to force a charge?

Yes I have tried that.. Agan it will work in any other firmware version
