Help ASTRO Spectra with VRS750 mode steering

Hi,

I have a W9 110watt VHF ASTRO Spectra with a UHF VRS750 attached. I have programed the VRS750 to mode steer 8 modes. What I am having problems with is that I can only steer the VHF mobile to only 4 of the 8 programed modes. It accepts the mode steering PL's for mode 8, 1, 2 and 3 from the handheld and changes to those modes and works as advertised. When I send PL's associated with mode steering 4, 5, 6 and 7 nothing happens. I am not sure what else to try??? Any help would be great!!!
