Digital ID Display not working

I have an AS2 with the flash of 500008-040400-3. One of the options is Digital ID Display. Is that just IMBE ID display or does it do MDC also? Cause for the life of me I can't get it to display MDC IDs...

I have confirmed that it is enabled in RSS (F4>F3>F6>F7), cant find it anywhere else.

have you set the personality's signalling system to MDC and have you enabled ID Display on the display menu ? it doesn't just work automatically.

It is enabled on the display menu, and the channels in question have MDC enabled w/DOS but still no go.

I just realized that DOS is not silencing the squawk, so hmmmm... May have a setting I overlooked. I'll look later and check back here...

Send me the codeplug and is it by chance a post mdc id on a repeater system?

yes it is post mcd.

Also, the MDC is being silenced my DOS...

End of voice timer is set at ZERO and SCAN ID Display is not checked off. Correct these and see if it works.

Ok, so i messed with the settings mentioned above and now it is intermittent, using 2 other radios I have here...

Using the same 4 channels, the AS2 will display:
-----------> Radio A's ID on all channels (PL/DPL/CSQ)
-----------> Radio B's ID on the only 1 channel using CTCSS (Not DPL/CSQ). Also, this radio is using MDC 600.

The only thing I can think is it needs to be tuned, but I wouldn't think it would make that big of a difference. The audio is perfectly fine.

Incidentally, I can talk back and forth between this AS2 and a XTS on IMBE till the cows come home with no issues.

I am not MDC 600 expert but I would think MDC 600 and 1200 are two different beasts and not interchangable. Anyone know?

I wouldn't expect MDC1200 to decode MDC600 at all.

See thats what I thought, but it does decode it 95% of the time on that one channel.

If I have both call alert & selective call encode/decode enabled it works 100% of the time.

Except for MDC 600 using a DPL.
