CDM different models CPS question

Post by pfd radio »

I have CDM1550, 1550 LS+, and two different CDM1250 models. Is there a way to use a codeplug from one model on a different model? Really I'm looking to bring over the alias list(MDC1200) and conventional personalities to another model without typing a whole new codeplug for the other model radio. Is there a trick to copy and paste?

No. The professional series, for whatever reason, was never updated to include the 'drag & drop' feature. It's the one glaring deficiency of that software, compared to other CPS packages.

You can try it, but don't expect a miracle. We've forwarded our requests to Moto several times to include the ability to import / export comma delimited files with common info such as mode, freq, PL, alias list, call list, etc, and have never gotten a response.
