As topic : Clock reset to 12:00 when power on

Have tried numbers 800MHz XTS2500i (8 Meg version) radios.
Clock reset to 12:00 when power on radio, even thought setting of time has been saved.

problem exist even changed the battery.


any idea ??

Did you change the coin cell battery inside the unit?

If so....it sounds like you have a short in the battery charging circuit. Check and see how the gold connector is attached to the board and make sure it's a clean solder fit.

This would be in connection with the firmware as well.

Try re-flashing the unit ... if you have never done that before then don't try...have a repair center do it for you.
