GTX LTR E06

Post by Fudeba »

Hello People!

I have two GTX Morotola M11UGD6CU1AN (Trunked, 800MHz, 15W) with E06 on the screen. Radio can be read, programmed, but error persists.

The RSS used the GTX / MAX638-RVN 4150 - R04.00.00

I tried to blank board with the GTX LAB (R01.01.00 - Restricted to FTR).

To initialize the standart RSS, F2, F8, says the board is black and I must load a valid codeplug, load a valid codeplug a M11UGD6CU1AN, choose the serial number, programming and E06 persists.

I need help!

Did they have this error before, or only after you tried to re-initialize them? If the radios came to you this way, it's possible the boards don't actually match the model# on the label of the chassis. "E06" means the firmware doesn't understand the codeplug of the radio. For instance, putting an LTR codeplug into a Privacy Plus GTX, or vice-versa. I have also seen this error when someone tries to put a SmartZone LCS codeplug into a GTX. A SmartNet codeplug works fine.
No trees were harmed in the posting of this message...however an extraordinarily large number of electrons were horribly inconvenienced.

Welcome to the /\/\achine.

Hello

After much struggle, I have sucess to recover two GTX with E06.

Steps I used.

Do "Blank Board with RSS GTX LAB. I used the "Restricted to FTR" even.

Open the RSS GTX 2000 (RVN-4150 Version R03.03.00B)

Load a valid codeplug in to RSS, load with the same model (my GTX: M11UGD6CU1AN)

Back to main menu, use F2 (service menu), F6 (board replacement).

Enter the serial number, press F8 and F8. Wait ...

If you have luck, radio back to life. 8)

Optional: If you want to update the codeplug, load the GTX RSS R04.00.00b, read and rewrite the radio.

Ah!!! I need a two RF module (MHW2821-1) someone would have that and I can sell at a low price? :D

Thanks to all!
