XTS2500i Beep on Transmit

Hi Folks,

Pulling my hair out trying to figure out where the beep on PTT down is
coming from.

Use PTT release MDC signaling, so didn't figure that's it.

Even with the tones muted, it still beeps.

Ideas?

Do you have any type of secure enabled, like software based ADP?

Hi Marc,

That was it. We aren't using security, but I see in
the Secure Configuration screen that ADP is
selected. I turned off the TX Clear Alert Tones,
and it stopped.
