XTS2500 Low Power?

Post by Tim »

There are times that I like to save the battery, and go to low power.

I cannot find an option to do this through the menu list.

Is there a way to do this without setting up a different
Conventional Personality with the Low Power box checked?

Thanks,

Tim

It's not a menu option on a 2500, so in short no.

Stupidity creates job security!

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.

Hi Marc,

'Thanks' for the info! :-(

Guess I'll set up a low power zone & just deal with it.

Thanks again,

that's the only way on a 1500/2500. I have a 2500 with FPP and have a single FPP zone with a zone name set to "LO" and it's just that, all the personalities are set to low power.
