MCS2000 Conversion complete no RX/TX

Post by randalls »

Gentlemen,

Followed the directions on how to convert an MCS2000 to a Skywalker radio, worked flawlessly (thanks for the procedure).

The radio now has 250 channels and the RSS can program all features, buttons and lights, zones, etc.

When tuning the radio, all test equipment indicates no TX, however the TX LED on the control head comes on, spec A says no RF.

Tuning the RX, injected Freq does not break the squelch. Hooking up an antenna results in no joy.

Radio specifics: MCS2000 110 watt, remote control head, origional model M01KLM9PW6AN, conversion model M01KHM9AN5AN
chose this model as it matched the radio the closest. I suspect disconnection from RF to PA because of code. (radio worked before conversion).

Any help much appreciated.
