H101 used to be a flashcode option prior to R06.xx.xx. Now it has since been integrated into the CPS and is no longer a flashcode option. And yes, it works in a radio with Q52/Q53.

Stupidity creates job security!
If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..
CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.

Anybody can explain what does it do? I mean H101 Repeater Access.

It gives you MDC Repeater Access capability. It's an old method of selective radio access control used in conventional repeater systems; you can program it to transmit every time you talk, or with a side button press.
A couple of ham repeater systems in the Chicago area use it, and that's about the only use a hobbyist would have for it.

Kind of.. I guess? It means a repeater set up for it won't pass what it hears without a proper RAC ID in addition to PL/DPL, which is different and separate from a MDC unit ID.MotoFAN wrote:You mean repeater squelched on MDC?motorola_otaku wrote:It gives you MDC Repeater Access capability.
