IIi hybird in an XTS?

Post by alannerd614 »

Good afternoon all,

As I dont have much experience with hybrid systems, I just wanted to run a quick question by.

I assume that an XTS2500 (with interop in the flash) is capable of accessing the type II side of a hybrid system (Type II IDs and TGs). Is this correct?

There arent many out there, and now that I have ran into the problem, I just want to be sure I can program it in, before I waste my time trying and/or telling someone that you can do it.

What radios do you own?: XTS2500, XTS5000, and MTS2000

assuming you have 3600 trunking capability in your XTS2500, yes it will work. I have a 2500i with a type IIi system in it now, no issues.
