Simply put, has anyone done work with either the MTX9000 or MTX8000 or MTS variants... to get them to RX around 897 or 902Mhz?
I've got a maxtrac 800 up to 897, but am looking to do it with a portable. If neither will work, is there any Mot portable that can?

A 900MHz XTS2500 has a split of 896-941.Josh wrote:If neither will work, is there any Mot portable that can?

Stupidity creates job security!
If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..
CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.

But doesn't that mean TX of 896-902 & TX & RX of 935-941? For example a 900 MHZ Jedi will TX & RX from 935-941 & maybe a little more, but only TX at the bottom end of the band. 896-902 MHZ. So does the 2500 TX & RX over the complete 900 band? GARY N4KVE
