Ham P25 in Portland, Oregon area????

Post by N7QQU-Ken »

Good Day-

Does anyone know of P25 ham repeater systems in the Portland, Oregon area? I have heard rumors but no solid information.

Thanks.

Ken,

Any person who's a relatively experienced repeater owner/operator in your area would probably be up-to-date on the P25 repeater status.

I have a mixed mode Quantar on 145.490 in Newberg, NAC 293 analog is CSQ. The call is K7FM

The UHF box on Eola Hill just east of Amity. 441.800 NAC 293 analog is 100Hz The call is W7YAM. That is the Yamhill ARES group.

Jim-
Thanks for the information. I will try the 70 CM tomorrow. I will be getting a 2 M P25 soon... it has been shipped and will arive soon. I will try the 2 M soon after it arrives.
I think I will need to travel a bit to get closer but it will be interesting to see the coverage area.

Thanks:)

Great! I will send a PM when I get things programmed and my VHF radio. Thanks for the info!

I live near RockCreek PCC at 185th and Springville. I also monitor the 927.1125 system with a MTX9000.
I also spend time at Ronler Fire Station (Hillsboro EOC) at 229th and Evergreen.
