Converting Astro P25 W4 to remote head

Converting Astro P25 W4 to remote head

I have a W4 dash mount Astro Spectra full P25, to convert this to a remote head can I use remote mount equipment from an analog a7 spectra or do I need equipment designed specifically for a W4? Specifically can I use the remote cable and the backing for the head?

Yes you can use analog equipment to do that however the new face plate on the radio will not support flashport upgrading through the keyloader port (if it even has one).
