JT1000- No MDC?

I heard of JT1000 does not have MDC features. Is it true?

your right , jt1000 has no MDC1200 signalling. Apparently the internal software takes up too much to provide more than 16 ch and MDC.....Still, its a pimp ass radio, i know I had one

Since you had one, what is the BAND(WIDE,MID,NARROW) for? Any comments from others also greatly appreciated. Thanks.

WIDE MID NARROW is to select the bandwidth. 20/25KHZ and 12.5 KHZ. The JT 1000 has the capiablity to have an different bandwidth programmed on a "per mode" basis, Unlike inferior radios would have the whole entire radio be only one coice. For instance in in some older radios RSS, you can switch the radio from 25/12.5 but its a radio wide option and not a component of an individual mode. Does this clear things up a little? Sometimes I read my posts and think im a little hard to understand.
