Where to post about Job Openings?

Post by a_j_b »

I work for a manufacturer of mission critical command and control equipment and we have some openings we feel could potentially be filled from a community like Bat Labs, but I want to make sure that the board admins would be OK with this. Is there an appropriate forum here to post in or are there similar web communities like bat labs where I could cross post it?

I do not have an issue with it however I will say this for everyone's sanity:

1) You shouldn't be a recruiter
2) You should be someone who works for the company and is authorized to post job postings.
3) You should be able to answer some questions and offer your contact information for people to get in touch with you.
4) The company name should be clearly stated.
5) This is a random one off here and there - there should not be job postings on here weekly :)

With the standard disclaimer that we are in no way responsible for you getting a job/your lack of job/or any and all issues that might arrise... go forth and post.

1) You shouldn't be a recruiter
I am a direct employee of the company that has the openings.

2) You should be someone who works for the company and is authorized to post job postings.
I work for the company and am working with the HR department of the company to reach out to a more specialized audience.

3) You should be able to answer some questions and offer your contact information for people to get in touch with you.
Can do. I am not a terribly active poster on this forum but I lurk and actively monitor the email account associated with my account here.

4) The company name should be clearly stated.
Very.

5) This is a random one off here and there - there should not be job postings on here weekly :)
Just this one post, we don't typically reach out in this way but we're interested in seeing more responses from people who have a background in radio; which we all know is a relatively small industry. If this turns out to be very successful, I'll approach the admins again before posting.

Thank you for the blessing!

The post is up, in this same forum, but if you feel it should be moved I don't mind.

Thanks again!
