xts5000 and 2500 info wanted

I don't have my service manual with me today otherwise I could answer my own question.

Do the model I and model II XTS5000 and XTS2500 radios use the same controller boards that the model III radios use ?

I Just needed to know how hard it is to upgrade a 5000 or 2500 Model I or model II to a model III.

The controller boards are the same from a MI to a MIII.

Of course within the same model line, the 2500 boards are not the same as a 5000. I know that is not what you are asking, but I just want to clarify it so someone does not misunderstand that.
