Busy Lockout on XPR 6550

Post by RADIOMAN2002 »

I have looking through the software for over 2 hours trying to figure out how to disable BCLO on my XPR 6550 portable. Our repeater has no DPL on the hang time, so the radio just beeps saying channel busy. Any one out there that can tell me what setting I am missing?

Going from memory here. Don't have the CPS in front of me. I think what you need is "Admit criteria" and it is on the same screen as the Tx and Rx frequencies. On the Tx side and down at the bottom. You need to set it to "Always". And also, you need to set the view to "Expert" to see this field.

That's it, I didn't have the software in expert mode.
Thanks
