Looking for manual or any info for a motorola S1344AA devi meter and freq counter

The deviation meter works fine but all zeros are on... meter moves for input level ....but no frequency display
anyone has one of these or know what i can look for or where to send for repairs

You and me both. I have one which is defective and totally screwed up, but no manual. This is a design by Racal for Motorola and the circuitry is not trivial. The deviation meter is linked to the counter circuitry as part of the auto-tune function.

It's about thirty years old and there isn't likely to be any depot still able to fix them, nor would it be affordable if there were. The original Racal became a vacant lot about 15 years ago and I don't think there could possibly be any Motorola support for this thing these days.

Sometimes one gets lucky by checking for dried out or shorted electrolytic capacitors and shorted dip-tantalum capacitors.
