Motorola ENLN4101A

Hello I hope someone can help me out here. I purchased this item and wanted to use it with my UHF HT1250 the part number is ENLN4101A Its a Converta com for the HT1250 portable. I want to use this in my car.What else do I need to use it? It only came with the unit and wires hanging out of the bottom and no instructions. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Can this unit be used with the HT1250 UHF 450-512 split radio?

You'll need an antenna adapter to use an external antenna - it mounts between the radio and the aerial and there are two contacts on the XTVA that connect to it.
