error 1646 in MOTOTRBO

Post by RADIOMAN2002 »

I havn't had the need to program any MOTOTRBO for a while, but this morning I get this error "#1646 Application has encountered an error" I checked in windows component services. Error listed as "1646sfcadapter. External component has throw an exception". Further info from windows is that it has something to do with netframe. I downloaded the latest version (4.0)and installed it, but still the same error comes up.Any ideas?

Yea, that's what I ended up doing. Must be something with dotnet.

dot net is a frickin PITA

loaded CPS on my old programming laptop and it took 70 minutes for the install to complete. then another 15 minutes for the C++ libraries.
