Any thought as to using a standard "band plan" or set frequencies for batlab folks like is done at Dayton? Or has been done at Dayton anyway. I've never been myself, but I've seen posted on the board here that a lot of the guys use something common when at Dayton. Orlando is probably the largest hamfest in the SE US. I am sure a lot of us will go. I suggest UHF digital or analog, either GMRS or amatuer. Any thoughts?

For the folks coming down for the show. Remember there is a wide-area Motorola digital UHF repeater system in the area. The repeater covers most all of the Orlando area with just a handheld radio. I will be monitoring the system during the weekend of the show. 442.075 standard NAC. System works VERY well in both digital and analog.

Should be a good show.

I'm in..just haven't figured out where I'll be hanging out in the RF spectrum.
I do enjoy the wire area UHF repeater noted above...it really kick's butt!

Flying down from NC on Wednesday in my '62 Beech Debonair. Will be at the hamfest
Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Just added the above UHF 442.075 analog and digital
to my XTS3000's codeplug. Monitoring 446.0375 NAC 293 in the scanlist too. Also added a couple of
other UHF freq's mentioned in above posts to see what I hear. Will have a VHF Johnson
5100 FPP as well. One of these days a VHF/UHF APX will be affordable and I won't have
to carry two P25 handhelds.

Heh, yah someday. ;)

I'm here & it's 57 degrees. Grilling burgers in the tailgate area. Brrrr. Hope it warms up tomorrow. The UHF IMBE rptr works great. GARY N4KVE

Well so far it's been a great show. A little on the cold side, but today was sunny. I've been listening to all the UHF freq's listed, but haven't heard anyone from this forum. The IMBE UHF rptr works great, & lots of people at the show have been using it. I picked up some UHF Sabers [440-470] split from a tailgater. Absolutely brand new, never used radios with encryption... $35 each, & they talk to each other. Good show, & we've been eating well. When I get home tomorrow, I fly out to Atlanta to do another news shot on TV. I hope others had a good time too. GARY N4KVE
