I have it for the HLN1439 which is supposedly backward compatible. Not sure what you will find inside.

The HLN1185x circuitry is nearly identical, but the 1439 is a totally different creature. Electronically; it is backwards compatible but the board is totally different.

Over the holidays I will sort through my X9000 libary. I have about 45 linear feet of service manuals for that vintage of radios. I am sure I have one. If I do, I can scan it, or if I have a duplicate I'll send it to you.

There are a ton of the 1185 boxes out there. The manual for some reason has been scarce and for the most part never scanned and
made available for people like us that have had to play come along and work with these units over time. Maybe if you could scan it
and make it available on a site like maybe the repeater builder. That would bring a smile to many of us old time techs.

I injured my knee and can't move the piles of boxes to get to the manuals. I expect to have some help this weekend, maybe. If I can get back that far, I will complete my search.

The repeater builder site has reloaded the HLN1185A manual thanks to the efforts of Eric and the site owner.

This should get you to the manual if you can't find it. It is under the Syntor X9000 information.
